20-21 Nike City Edition Uniform Unveil
When Nike became the NBA’s official uniform outfitter in 2017, they introduced a new uniform platform known as the City Edition. This community based uniform gives teams the opportunity to design geographically relevant uniforms on a yearly basis. The 2020-21 uniform highlights Boathouse Row, an iconic city landmark that runs along the Schuylkill River just west of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The design is inspired by the charming and iconic view Boathouse Row provides on a Philadelphia night, whether it’s from the famed Kelly Drive or Interstate 76, as each boathouse is lined with lights that reflect on the tranquil water of the Schuylkill River.
